Join Ember for a total herbal immersion weekend! This workshop will provide an introduction to or deepening of herbal knowledge - it is open to all levels of experience. Located on the beautiful hundred acre Heartseed Farm, home of Annapolis Seeds, perennial herb gardens and wild medicine galore! We will together explore the fields, forests and gardens, learning about the plants growing around us and connecting with the land. The weekend will be full-on packed with classes on local herbs, how to harvest herbs in a sustainable way, how to make herbal preparations, how we can learn about herbs through our senses and experiences, and exploring the energetics at the core of herbal medicine. Ember's approach through a trauma-informed, client-centered, trans-inclusive and anti-colonial lens will be woven throughout the classes, with space to explore how we can be in good relationship with each other, this earth, and all creatures. Meals will be provided by a local gardener/forager who will keep us well fed with nutritious, delicious, local food. Participants are encouraged to camp on the land.

Cost is $375, includes 20+ hours of classes, 8 meals and camping space. Arrival will be the evening of Friday August 30th, departure the afternoon of Monday September 2nd. Located in the Annapolis Valley near Middleton, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Discounts are available upon request. Sliding scale pricing is available for People of Colour and Indigenous participants (see accessibility page for explanation)
